Inspired by the natural beauty of The Macallan’s 485-acre Estate, artist and The Macallan employee Colin Rizza has beautifully depicted the Distillery in watercolour. Colin and his family have deep ties to the Distillery, having worked here for over three decades. The delicate, complex nose, sweet spice and gently mellowing palate and rich, medium finish are waiting to welcome you into our home in the heart of Speyside, Scotland.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Deep gold.
Nose: Butterscotch, figs, dates, almond, polished oak, milk chocolate and a gentle floral note.
Palate: Butterscotch, oak spice, then ginger and vanilla.
Finish: Medium finish with ginger and oak.
