This rich, fruity single malt from Balblair was matured for 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels before moving to ex-oloroso casks for the remainder of its life. This has created a complex whisky with aromas of gingerbread, prune and walnut on the nose, followed by a velvety texture and pleasing notes of tropical fruit and baking spices.
