Bruichladdich’s 10th series of Octomore bottlings has been all about challenging conventions, showcasing a softer style of smoke than previous peat bombs. Octomore 10.4, however, adds another layer to the convention challenging, being the youngest Octomore released to date! It was distilled in 2016 and matured for only three years in virgin oak casks, before being bottled at 63.5% ABV. It may be a young whisky, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t complex and enjoyable – not by a long shot.
Tasting Note
Nose
Roasted bell peppers, hay, a flash of pear and peach, stem ginger and bonfire smoke.
Palate
Toasty barrel char and cigar box aromas, clove, cinnamon, red berries and baked earth.
Finish
Slightly nutty, with continued peat smoke spiciness.

Changing Delivery Address

If the rearrangement is unsuccessful, it will be considered a new delivery. We will inform you of any additional delivery costs that might be incurred, and your order will be redelivered pending your approval.
