Production Method & Ingredients
Crafted from malted barley and pure Scottish water, this Islay single malt is matured for 25 years in carefully selected oak casks, including ex-bourbon casks. The extended maturation softens Laphroaig’s signature peat smoke while developing greater depth, richness and complexity.

Tasting Notes
Rich and complex with layers of distinctive Islay peat smoke, sea salt, toasted oak and gentle medicinal notes. Sweet vanilla, honey and ripe fruit balance the smokiness, followed by warm spice and a long, smoky, elegant finish.
Pairing Suggestions
Pairs well with smoked salmon, grilled or smoked meats, oysters, mature cheeses, roasted nuts and dark chocolate. Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up its deeper aromas and flavours.
