Tasting Note
Appearance
The whisky has a pale gold colour, indicative of its natural aging process without artificial colouring.
Nose
The aroma is complex and inviting, with initial notes of vanilla, lemon, and lime. This is followed by a wave of peat smoke, complemented by hints of chocolate, toffee, and a subtle medicinal quality. There are also underlying notes of fresh herbs and a touch of sea salt, reflecting its coastal origins.
Palate
On the palate, Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist is rich and creamy, with a pronounced peat smoke presence. The flavours are well-balanced, featuring sweet vanilla, citrus fruits, and dark chocolate.
