Bowmore 40 Year Old is a distinguished and exceptionally rare single malt whisky, showcasing four decades of patient maturation in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads. A significant portion is further enhanced through an extended finish in first fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks, imparting deep layers of character and refinement. 

Aromas of juicy tropical fruits and cocoa lead to a palate of decadent tobacco, walnut cake, and subtle peat smoke, all culminating in an enduring and luxurious finish.
