This splendid 13 year old blended Scotch whisky joins the Chivas Regal range, and a selection of the whisky that goes into the blend is matured in bourbon casks. The result is a bright and creamy profile, with sweet oak and vanilla shining through. Great for sipping and should be ideal for mixing up some tasty cocktails.
Alcohol: 40%
Taste: Nose: Vanilla and oak are there right away, followed by a touch of orange zest and melted butter.
Palate: Sweet vanilla caramel, buttered popcorn, pressed apples and mellow spice.
Finish: Gently peppery warmth builds, with plenty of creamy malt, tangy oak, and smooth spice.
