This whisky is crafted using traditional Japanese methods, including the use of wooden fermentation tanks (kioke), which impart unique characteristics to the whisky. The 1981 Kioke Shikomi is a blend of single malts from Suntory’s Hakushu and Yamazaki distilleries, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item.
