Ancnoc 24 Year Old 700ml 46%

Nose: Vanilla, Sherry and dark chocolate. Raisins, Figs and burnt honey and caramel dipped apples. There some spice very light and gentle.

Palate: Very savory, almost meat like, crisp bacon, granny smith apples, Mint chocolate, sweet dates. At 92 proof its a bit lighter then we are used to, but not in a bad way. Has some depth initially and complexity on the upper palate. As your swirl this magic brown water around, the spice becomes very relevant and the sweetness of the sherry takes over.

Finish: Light and humbling, sherry and crisp malts with savory honey. Medium to Short, does not last too long on the palate.
