The making of Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Gran Reserva
The luxurious experience of the Glenfiddich Gran Reserva is owed to 21 long years of maturing in the distillery, developing the distinctive rich notes of the iconic Glenfiddich.
When its exquisite layers are about to fully develop, it is given a sublime finish in Caribbean rum casks. It is here, in its final 4 months, that the layers of dark gold liquid intensify with exotic notes of ginger, fig, and lime.
The brilliant idea to give it a rum cask finish elevates the alluringly smooth whisky to become a spicy enigma that intrigues with every sip.

The Glenfiddich 21 year old whisky seductively dark gold colour will lure you into a palate paradise. It has an intensely sweet aroma of vanilla with hints of figs, warm toffee, and oak. An initial soft taste, then brisk, vibrant, and drying, followed by a fiery pungent peppery taste, with a hint of warm and exotic ginger, lime, and spices. Finally, a very long and warm smacking finishcalls for another round of celebration.
